need more info

Hi im new to the group and have LOTS of questions. first i will introduce myself. My name is Dan Weseman. im 31 years old, I live on a private airpark in north Fl(haller airpark 7FL4) I plans built a sonex with a corvair engine (we call it a cleanex)and have put 130 hrs on it in the last 2 years. I have a well equiped shop with Tig ,mig,lathe vertical mill, a brake and shear etc.the building itch has hit hard in the last few weeks so the search is on for somthing to plans build. I looked over the CH701 but its a little small and lacks usefull load. i want a STOL type aircraft and would like to put it on amphib floats at some point.I stumbled across the STOL king and instantly loved it. Im ready to order plans and tubing but need a little more info. First is anyone within 300 miles of North Fl with a project i could look at?I remember looking over a "storch type" aircraft at a airpark near lake city FL (Cannon Creek)its only a 20 minute flight so i will try and look him up. he had a Walter Lom 145 on it IIRC Im 6ft 230 lbs but it looks like the cabin is large? what is the real empty weight,how much will it weigh with a 0-235?what is the Gross weight(ive seen several #s) How is the company? they sound good? speed isnt real important as i have the Cleanex to go places (150-165mph cruise) but will one really cruise at 85 or so?
